The kitchen is the room you'll notice every single day.
It's also the most complicated room in the house to rebuild. Plumbing, gas, electrical, ventilation, cabinetry, and finish carpentry all land in the same two hundred square feet, and every one of them has to be right before the next one starts. A kitchen that runs long usually isn't running long because of the tile.
We plan the sequence before we swing a hammer. Cabinet lead times, appliance dimensions, rough-in locations, inspection windows — those get settled on paper first. It's the difference between a kitchen that takes the weeks we said and one that sits half-finished waiting on a delivery.
We've seen what's behind your walls. Cali Home Construction came up in restoration. Old galvanized supply lines, undersized panels, venting that goes nowhere, framing someone modified without a permit — we find that in the demo of a 1950s kitchen more often than not. Finding it early is a line item. Finding it late is a delay.
You keep living there. We dust-wall the work area, protect floors on the path in and out, and clean up daily. You'll be without a kitchen — nobody can fix that — but you shouldn't be without the rest of your house.
What will it cost?
That depends on your layout, your cabinets, and your countertop, and any number we gave you without knowing those would be a guess. So we built you a tool instead.
